VIRTUAL TOUR
-
Take a virtual tour of our space and see how we’ve created a warm, welcoming environment for residents, their families, and our community. Our home is thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, connection, and peace during life’s final chapter.
-
From cozy indoor spaces to serene outdoor areas, each part of our home reflects our commitment to compassion and care. Whether you're considering volunteering, supporting a loved one, or simply curious about our mission, this tour offers a glimpse into the heart of what we do.
-
Guests and their families have access to cozy common areas, including a living room with a gas fireplace, a full kitchen, and a dining room that invites shared moments.
-
Our outdoor spaces offer opportunities for reflection and connection, with trails to explore, benches for resting, and a rock labyrinth designed for quiet contemplation.
-
This beautiful space we call home at the Bardo has an energy that supports and nourishes our guests and their families during this transformative journey.
Mend
-
In addition to the peaceful settings of The Bardo, we are deeply connected to the land we’re fortunate to call home. We are partnered with Mend Sanctuary, a sacred 43-acre site, accessible by walking trail or car. Mend is lovingly cared for and offers healing nature trails, a wildflower labyrinth, a food forest, pasture, and a spring-fed pond.
-
Mend has a vibrant community of animal friends—sheep, cats, ducks, chickens, bunnies, and Francis, the giant fluffy puppy. The sanctuary is also the home of three Lakota Spirit Horses: Wiyan, Meenah, and Sky. This land invites us to embrace the beauty of nature and serves as a powerful reminder of the cyclical and interconnected
flow of life.
With humility & gratitude...
We gratefully acknowledge the Dakota Peoples on whose ancestral lands we gather, as well as the diverse and vibrant multicultural communities who make this their home today. With humility and a genuine intention to be of service, we lead with our hearts and strive to honor and value wisdom ways outside of our own. We are forever listening and learning–as we serve as stewards of this land and the many beings who inhabit it.
“I want there to be a place in the world where people can engage in one another’s differences in a way that is redemptive, full of hope and possibility.”
